WOW, almost another whole year has gone buy without any kind of update to this page. Well - not surprising, I haven't really been in a web development mood much this year. Actually, I have been occasionally from time to time, but it's not been convenient to do so for me. Perhaps next year.

Anyway, the only reason I'm even updating this page today is that I decided to make a web portal for myself, and wanted to look at the html here so I could use the same crappy level of expertise on the web portal.

Holy cats, this is the first time I have updated my home page in over a year, I have been home since November 2001, and it's now January 2003. I have since moved back to Hoboken, lived in a studio for a year, and now I am in a lovely 2 Bedroom apartment on Washington St. I'll have to post some pictures one of these days. Anyway - here is the reason I am updating my web page -

Well, a lot has changed both for me and on this page since I first put it up all those many months ago. This page is over a year old now, wow! Newest News: I'm coming home November 15, 2001! Whooo hooo! And even more cool news, as you can see from the above, This page is in a new location- yeppers, it's www.galvorn.net! My own domain. Well, its a domain that I am sharing with my very excellent friend Jeff. You may notice that currently you are in the /old/ directory. That's b/c this page will be retired eventually - hopefully soon, to be replaced by an even flashier page. The content will be the same, so if you think this sucks, the new page won't thrill you, but hopefully it will be easier to navigate and more logically laid out. Up to now this page has grown the way NYC grew in the beginning below 10th St, all mish-mash. I hope the new page to grow more like above 10th street, in a logical and orderly pattern.

I put this page together so I could display some pictures of my new apartment, and also (mainly) b/c I finally wrote down one of the many many idea's that I've had.  Actually, few of my ideas are very original, in my opinion.  Really, they're nothing more than an amalgamation of things I've heard or read or saw somewhere else.  Maybe no one has put them together the way I have, or maybe there's some minuscule distinction that I've added.  The one bit of originality necessary for the idea to go from nebulous to specific.  Maybe it's pure plagerization.  But - hey, if you're here and you read any Idea I publish, and if you never heard of it before or heard it said quite this way, then I have imparted something new to you.  If I manage that, then I've succeeded.  Ideally, I'll inspire someone to do something, or take some action to help move an idea along to fruition.  Or maybe I'll say something so stupid you'll feel compelled to write me to tell me all the flaws in my logic.  Either would be welcome. Maybe you're just here to have a laugh; That's great too!  As long as I elicited some type of reaction, then I'm happy.
